Goal Organization Motivation

Three words make the acronym GOM.

Goal. Everything has a goal. You can tie this to purpose or mission or meant-to-be state of being. One strategic attribute of humans is the ability to freely choose a goal, modify a goal or end a goal. Intellectual capacity is required to recognize and define the goals that matter.

Organization. The structural and mental items necessary to complete the goal. It includes physical and emotional attributes. 

Physical attributes are organizational structure within a business or government; tools needed to produce a product; structures needed to house people or employees; educational expertise and defined operational rules. 

Emotional attributes can include teaming, winning, losing, capabilities, or love. Emotional attributes require effort to delineate between organizational and / or motivational linkages.

An example is the love between people. The motivational aspect may result in the birth of a child. It can also be part of an organizational make up. Do people of any defined group have an affection that creates a form of glue that binds them together?

Motivation. This is the spirit of drive. Motivation will instill energy into the effort to organize and accomplish the goal. Motivation is a basic building block of human ROM (Read Only Memory). The term has a broad range of utilization, from the individual motive to self-save to the cultish aspects of group control.

Motivation is the most mysterious to determine. It is not always apparent why things happen as they do. Why did the legalization of marijuana take so long? Why has gambling become so freely available? Why does my boss react in a certain way? Why do my friends like me?
