What is GOM?

 Goal Organization Motivation has a scientific foundation that grew out of General Systems Theory and Systems Theory. 

Three words that form a triad of agents to focus on reality and provide a memory tool. 

Goals can be met. Organization can be simplified. Motivation can be used as a basic building block. 

GOM is a framework tied to knowledge, experience and intuition and it can be used during any form of meeting or project as it provides a simple method to ensure focus. 

The terms Goal and Organization are easy to grasp and articulate. Motivation however requires a solid understanding of what makes the G and O “stick” together. Understanding motive is crucial to understanding the “why”. Goal Organization Motivation will help to show you the way. 

The methodical use of GOM allows a capable individual to assess situations, reach decisions and formulate actions. GOM also works on a personal level as a tool that offers a formula to help unlock the motivation needed to help you help yourself. 

I have used GOM on many different levels throughout my life. The idea that we are free to choose a goal and a path puts the onus on each of us to define our actions and beliefs. Take a personal position in the art of living life; it is an adventure of exploration.
